Flow of Time: Past Future – Immersive Installation and Mapping
Preview 2025 – Fortaleza, CE
The exhibition Past Future was developed by Desconexo Design for Preview 2025, proposing a fusion between design, art, and technology. The installation invites the public to reflect on the relationships between humans, memory, and the future, connecting elements of Fortaleza’s historical heritage with contemporary languages.
Visual artist and architect Joana Cardoso created the ephemeral installation composed of scenographic boxes that engage in dialogue with the city’s symbols, creating an interactive space. Complementing the proposal, Diego Ricca and interaction designer Samuel da Conceição developed “Flow of Time,” a mapped projection that connects modernist references to new digital aesthetics, expanding the audience’s experience.
