Farkas: Immersive Exhibition Thomaz Farkas – Beauty Before the Eyes

The exhibition “Thomaz Farkas – Beauty Before the Eyes” celebrates the centenary of the birth of one of the leading figures in 20th-century Brazilian photography and cinema. The show offers an immersion into Farkas’s artistic trajectory, recognized for his innovative vision and for valuing Brazilian popular culture through imagery.

With a curation dedicated to highlighting the artist’s aesthetics and technique, the exhibition also invites reflection on his contribution to contemporary visual culture and the lasting influence of his work on today’s photography and audiovisual scene.

One of the project’s highlights is the Augmented Reality (AR) intervention, which transforms part of the exhibition into an interactive experience. Using digital and three-dimensional technologies, AR visual elements invite the public to interact and discover the stories behind the images, enhancing the sensory and narrative experience.
